Goldheart by @tesscarletta is a sweeping heartfelt queer romantasy of forbidden love between guards of rival kingdoms with copious body horror and (consensual!) sex pollen/plant-based cannibalism (???) (what do you call it when you are boyfriends and plants grow out of your flesh and you eat those plants in an erotic manner) (good) (good is what you call it).

Jean with a peach was not on my TGR bingo card but it’s currently the only thing keeping me sane
jeremy’s only close to being in a relationship being a guy he dated in highschool who ended up choosing A CAR over jeremy vs jean saying he will choose jeremy every time. no matter what he loses in the process, he will choose jeremy every time

when you're in the mirror you're just looking at me
i was honestly shocked by how much i enjoyed this book. i don't really read YA anymore and wasn't expecting much from this other than cutesy bl in space but this book really grabbed me by the ass. if you like cheesy YA romance and existential space horror then check it out (also play 13 sentinels)
he sure looooooves holding jeremy’s chin
