However, his mother and father both instilled in him a very strong sense that everyone deserves kindness and compassion, and if they bite you back for it then they deserve a second chance. Life is too short to carry grudges, and there is good in everyone.

Like Mother, Like Son

Despite orders not to, Rouge would take Xander on some of her missions for GUN to teach him spy work. They even came up with a lie in case he got caught snooping—but he never did get caught.

Knuckles disapproved of their outings, thinking Xander’s duty was to inherit the role of the Guardian of the Master Emerald. However, Xander’s talents were too good for Rouge to pass up, so she took him anyway, and he was a quick-learner.

Loss of a Twin

Hey all! Here’s a little Disaster Twin angst I drew during college, lol. Poor Donnie’s face during this scene was priceless: the shock, too petrified to move, the knowledge that his life just changed forever. It’s obvious that he never thought he would lose his twin—it never occurred to him. They were two halves of the same turtle.

He broke, unable to move or process the grief.
