 Okay so it was confirmed that for Sofia the First Royal Magic, the same animation studio (Link) and many of the people from the creative team who worked on Firebuds (Link) are going to make it. So, I watched some episodes of Firebuds to try to predict what Royal Magic might be like, and I made an absolutely amazing discovery! Now I am more excited for Royal Magic than ever before because this is amazing and awesome, and it makes me so happy! The parents are treated as completely normal and accepted by everyone else in the show, and there's an episode (Balancing Act) that talks about how families are the people who love you and that they can be bigger or look different than one might expect!

 Anyway, here are some of the main episodes with Violet and her moms:

 These families are just so adorable and it's so amazing that the creative team was able to do this! Like in Sofia the First they weren't able to have any overtly LGBTQ+ characters, in my opinion there was coding for some characters, but nothing openly confirmed in the show itself. In Elena of Avalor they were able to have certain scenes in “Sweetheart's Day” and “Coronation Day” that implied possible gay and lesbian relationships, but nothing overtly stated (along with more coding). And then in Firebuds they are just like: Yep, they’re a couple. They're married. Love is real.

 Anyway, I'm excitedly hopeful that Royal Magic is going to have LGBTQ+ characters, either new ones or characters we already know being confirmed.🏳️‍🌈

So since you said I can still take a request and you said you kinda know about this show, how about Zee Zatara bonding with her dad? Maybe something with cooking and/or magic?

That could work too. But she’d probably at least need to know a bit about this person's background. And maybe know some other people who mutually know this person and believe the person is a good person, to confirm that they are naturally sweet and not artificially sweet.

👑 - Favorite character?

(I've already answered with my favourite human before so...) My favourite jaquin character is Luna. She's sassy, she's clever, and she has some of the best lines. Her song absolutely rocks. Her arc, though not the biggest one in the show, was enjoyable. Plus her colours and design work really well, you don't normally see pink and orange together if they're not accompanied by other colours, but she really pulled it off. 

🌼 - Favorite episode?

For this one I'm going to go with “The Sceptre Of Night.” I haven't really been keeping track but it's probably the episode I’ve re-watched the most. It's always great to see a team Avalor adventure episode! They were all particularly good in this one, and we got all four main jaquins as well. Mateo’s song is just amazing, one of the best songs in the series. The humour in it is fantastic, all of Fiero and Victor's interactions are just perfection. (Plus I could personally relate to how Victor snuck up on Fiero. I used to do that all the time to my friends, until I realized that I needed to stop that or else I wouldn't have any friends). And I love how the episode showed it's lesson not only with Mateo, but with Victor as well. Both of them were so caught up in trying to find the Sceptre first, more for their own personal reasons than the good of the group’s, that they stepped on the rest of the group's toes and caused major issues. So that was an interesting parallel. Overall a solid episode and my favorite one in that arc.
