I loved reading “The Petting Zoo” that was such acute story! Carla abd Mateo are such cute kids! I loved the irony, such as Carla not getting Mateo’s name right:) If there are any other instances of dramatic irony I missed in this comment, feel free to point them out to me! It’s unsurprising the memory faded away (they were only 5 after all) but as it did on that day, fate had more plans for them to meet in the future:) Though why didn’t the parents remember?    Well irony is somewhat subjective, so there could be instances of it that even I didn't notice. Although I believe the other main instance is Victor teaching Mateo a magic trick, considering the end of season 3.

   They the parents actually may have remembered. They didn’t remember who the other was at the time, but they may have remembered later, but it wouldn’t have been relevant enough to mention to anyone. I mean mentioning it during the “Spy in the Place” arc and the arcs following would have  only make each kid upset. After the reformation, who knows? Or one/both forgot because it was only one day and they both have my so many other things going on in their lives that they didn’t dwell on it. It’s up to interpretation.

Nice headcanon! I guess I've always thought it would be somewhere between October 1st and before March 1st (Which is a time your headcanon would fall into). Although there's nothing in the show to indicate exactly when it could be.

Side note, I've always found it a bit peculiar that the EverRealm uses the Gregorian calendar to divide it's years. I can accept that they have the same kind of moon and the same type of sun as Earth while being in a completely different solar system. And it seems like Earth has influenced the EverRealm seeing that they do have models of Earth, and there are just so many things in EverRealm culture that seem like they would have had to have come from Earth. But the fact that they would decide to split up the year in the exact same way...I don't know, it just seems noticeably weird to me for some reason (Even if their years are still 365 days long).

I loved your fic “The only time Esteban ever beat Victor in a race.” It hit me emotionally just there. And seeing Victor comfort Esteban was perfect. I hate all the fics where I see him as a willing conspirator in Shuriki’s takeover who expressed little to no care for the tragedies that occurred that day.

I've always thought that Victor would be horrified by the death of the Avalor royal family, just not quite as personally affected as Esteban. And of course he would try to comfort Esteban afterwards, give him support when he needed it most, making sure he was still eating and sleeping. (Victor probably wasn't very good at saying consoling things, which made it seem like he didn't care).

As long as Esteban had someone showing him kindness, he was harder to control. I think that's the main reason why Shuriki banished Victor. (Plus it would be easier having one teenage assistant and Esteban probably knew more about Royal politics anyway.) So one day she just lied to Esteban, saying that Victor knew about the assassination the whole time, and that he was happy the royal family was dead. Esteban's emotions were running so high that he believed her. So he agreed when she declared they would banish Victor. (Besides, if he went against Shuriki’s will she might kill him, so he didn't try to stop her).

  In the end, both of them had been reckless and greedy, making a plan to take over the kingdom (no matter their emotional motivations), but neither of them wanted anyone to die. At least that's my interpretation of it.

I did the the “Six Fanarts” challenge again, this time using recommendations given to me by my friend, @lilystar244 ! I had a lot of fun drawing this one, and technically it's a crossover because they're all wearing Mabel-made sweaters.

Isabel:

Favorite thing about them: She tries to be cautious and find logical solutions to her problems. And sometimes her anxiety can overwhelm her but in the end she still carries on and succeeds.

Least favorite thing about them: The pink and yellow dress she wears as a formal dress in some of the earlier episodes, some people like it but for me the colours just really seemed to clash with each other on it.

BrOTP: Her friend group and her sister. Also Catarina.

Random headcanon: After the coronation day she starts a part time music band with Christina, Amara, Quique, and Olivia. She sings lead vocals and plays lead guitar(dion). Everyone just expected that it would be a cute little band that plays really happy songs but they surprised everyone when they instead played intense emotional ballads of angst. They were a huge hit. (Her family is concerned about this, but then she pointed out that it's her way of letting off steam as a teenager instead of doing something like overthrowing the kingdom or obsessive revenge. Esteban and Elena felt very called out but also couldn't disagree with her).

Unpopular opinion: Not so much about her personally but I believe that her first invention for moving the rocks in Class Act up the mountain (the crane) was a much better idea than just launching them at the top of the mountain. If there are any workers on top of the mountain while they are launching rocks then people could get seriously hurt, not to mention the shrapnel from the rocks splitting apart. And if they miss the shot at the top of the mountain then the rocks are going to end up flying off to who-knows-where including the town.

Favorite thing about them: She's very determined and is also a bit of a perfectionist. (Which I can relate to)

Random headcanon: One of her main hobbies is sailing and she's so good at it that she often steers the ship when her family goes out on the ocean. (She and Naomi would become fast friends if they met).
