Favorite thing about them: She's a cute little crime smol filled with determination and sass, who really loves her family.

Least favorite thing about them: That she didn't get more screen time. (Also how her child model looks, but that's not her fault).

Favorite line: “Haha, burn.”

BrOTP: Well other than her father there isn’t anyone who she's friendly enough with on-screen to really qualify, so it's headcanon time! I've been thinking about this lately and I think it would be really cute if she became friends with some of the girls who she hasn't directly betrayed like Antonia or Tomiko. Not to say that she wouldn't eventually become friends with Elena and Naomi, I just think it would be nice to see her interact with someone who she doesn't have that kind of tension with.

Unpopular opinion: It's just really shocking to me how well put together she still was after being in prison for almost a year, all alone, considering how bleak her circumstances were. We know that she disliked being alone before, but after her mom's betrayal and her dad's petrification she was truly isolated. Maybe she just has unbreakable willpower? No, I feel like SOMETHING must have happened offscreen that helped keep her sane (and that something is the dog). Not that I would have wanted her to be a complete wreck, I just wish they would have spent some time explaining what it was like for her in the dungeon, maybe showing a few scenes of her interacting with someone leading up to The Lightning Warrior.

Queen Miranda, Mistress of Evil

  The story behind this is that when Halloween rolls around, on the third year of her being queen, Miranda decides that she really wants to dress up this year for Halloween, because she hasn't yet since coming to the palace. Back in the village she always used to dress up as a villain, but she was not sure if that was still acceptable now that she had become queen. Of course, as soon as she mentions this idea to her family, they told her that they thought it was a fantastic idea, and she should go for it! In fact, maybe she should even “take over the Kingdom” for Halloween (A.K.A. themed Halloween party where she's in charge)! So she made her own costume and the rest is history.

  Wormwood can't talk yet at this point in time, but everyone could tell that he wanted to be her evil sidekick for Halloween, so he's acting as Diablo to her Maleficent. (Even though he knew this whole thing was fake, Wormwood still very much enjoyed this because Maleficent is his favorite villain of all time and Miranda is surprisingly good at acting in character).

I think you make a good point about Carla giving up her life on land. I’d say the same thing for anybody who ships Marzel with Elena or Naomi. They also have hobbies, friends and family that they would miss. Unlike Ariel, the girls never show dissatisfaction with their lives on land. Ariel can be transformed into a mermaid to visit her friends and family under the sea whenever. If one of the girls chose to give up their legs, they would become a Sirena permanently.

Exactly. Plus, they have Master Royal Wizard Mateo, who I believe would 1000% be able to create a shapeshifting spell/object that was only temporary if it were so desired.

It's interesting you bring up “The Little Mermaid,” I believe Ariel would have chosen to live a life on land whether she had a crush on Eric or not. It's just that everyone both in and outside of the movie assumes that she ONLY did it for the romance, which just isn't true.
