You hop up and walk over to the sliding glass door adjacent to you, opening it to be instantly greeted by the smell of salt water and the sound of crashing waves. You walk out onto the deck as the warmth of the afternoon sun envelops you. You walk to the edge and lean over the bannister, smiling when you see exactly how close you are to the water.

“Wow.” You breathe out, admiring the scenery around you. You thought places like this only existed in movies.

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” A familiar voice behind you interrupts your thoughts.
