well my loves, i’m going to sign off now. Thank you for squandering a few minutes with me. I will never forget this time we had together. Also, since we are on the gishwhes tumblr, let’s do this: I will be calling people who register at gishwhes.com for the next hour I will call as many new registrants as i can (i’ll email you for your phone number). (I’ll also call some people who have previously registered.) I talk about gishwhes a lot because i love it. I love seeing the art people make, the mayhem that ensues, the seemingly impossible things that are achieved, the sheer weirdness of it all. For me, it’s one week when a corner of the world is functioning as it should. Join in. (And make sure your ringer is on so you answer when i call in the next hour).
What’s up with the fairly recent trend of leap years all being bad fucking years like 2008? Shit. 2012? Fucking shit. 2016? Absolute fucking shit. I’m just gonna predict 2020 is gonna be the Most Absolute Stinky Piece of Shit year to date
Amour de ma vie Je crois t’aimer Plus maintenant Que jamais. Love of my life I think I love you More now Than never.

“You look at trees and called them ‘trees,’ and probably you do not think twice about the word. You call a star a ‘star,’ and think nothing more of it. But you must remember that these words, ‘tree,’ ‘star,’ were (in their original forms) names given to these objects by people with very different views from yours. To you, a tree is simply a vegetable organism, and a star simply a ball of inanimate matter moving along a mathematical course. But the first men to talk of ‘trees’ and ‘stars’ saw things very differently. To them, the world was alive with mythological beings. They saw the stars as living silver, bursting into flame in answer to the eternal music. They saw the sky as a jeweled tent, and the earth as the womb whence all living things have come. To them, the whole of creation was ‘myth-woven and elf patterned’.”
