THIS AU PLEASE
bro is scared
The reason why I love InHun—aside from the incredible chemistry—is the dynamic. The frontman, a cold-hearted guy who's lost every ounce of hope in humanity, joined the games as Youngil because he was so pissed that a random dude held on to his stupid heroic beliefs until the very end of the first game. His only purpose was to witness him break, to see him become as hopeless as he is, to see the world the same way he does—only for Gihun to prove himself stronger than that, showing Inho that not even the worst monstrosities of human nature can make him lose hope. Inho hasn't seen anyone else believe in goodness and fight for it as much as Gihun has, and I believe a part of him admires him for it.
Gi-hun, trying to be polite, whenever In-ho is a little suspiciously too close to him: so ummm I really like my personal space
In-ho:
In-ho, moving closer until he is particularly snuggling with Gi-hun: I like your personal space too :)
this parallel is scaring me because if it was done on purpose then I fear there's a possibility that in season 3 we will see a fight between gi-hun and in-ho (like gi-hun and sang-woo in the final round in season 1) where in the end gi-hun refuses to kill in-ho (I doubt gi-hun will outright forgive him, but maybe he will try to tell in-ho to go home to jun-ho, that it doesn’t have to end in death) and when gi-hun tries to offer his hand to help lift in-ho up, in-ho will pull the same stunt sang-woo did and kill himself to maybe save gi-hun or jun-ho. something about "small sacrifice for the greater good"
:(
