do you guys remember this masterpiece because it’s one of my favorite things.
Tomato Adventure is a game very dear to me. I played it for the first time on November 17, 2021. That day was very, very bad for me, but it was also very good because I got to play this game for the first time with my friends. It's brought me great joy during dark days.
Before the campers, I had these guys.
hello i started playing professor layton recently and i was going through my following tab and suddenly saw a PL post and freaked for a second. but then saw it was there because it was liked by you. ha ha. just sharing the mundane.
Hell yeah, Professor Layton fans in the club MAKE SOME NOISE. I didn't know you liked it too. What game are you playing? I used to Layton all the time in 2022. Luke is my favorite.
Luke, my boy.
psychonauts campers Mikhail and Maloof.
It's May 2nd, so happy birthday to Quentin!
It must be tricky to have a birthday party with Phoebe, but they make it work.
(September 3 - September 22 2023)
I never really know what to say in these things, but I hope the drawings will speak for me. More under the cut (there's a LOTTTTT this time.)
Revisited an idea as previously seen in Feb. 2023 Highlights.
Rejected Sasha sketch.
I realized I had only drawn Milka four times so I decided to rectify that. (But who's to say she isn't in all of my drawings but invisible.)
Quentin makes me happy.
(Will anyone get the reference? I wonder)
(The joke is they are both named Mikhail. hahahaaaaaaaaAa)
(patrick voice) EVERYONE DIED.
I figured out how to make gradients the real way in my art thing. It's over for you all.
Aye aye aye, your eyes hypnotize 🎵
(here I was thinking I was clever for drawing Kitty with hypno-eye swirlies, but upon closer inspection on her model, she had them all along.)
Note: Crystal doesn't have an official birthday. I just chose from a random Virgo date. It happened to be Sept. 22. Yaaaaaaaaay.
I dread to imagine what's inside that box.
Here are some sketch versions of my drawings. Most of them are sketches that I used the pixel brush on since I sketch them out in a different program before putting them in IbisPaint.
(April 1 - April 3, 2024)
Previously...
I felt the drive to resume this "comic" just for fun. I drew WAY more than the first time, so I will put the rest under a cut.
SIDE B: Clem -
SIDE A: Crystal -
Comic about Crystal for @32bitterra
(August 21 - 23 2023)
I saw Milla in a dream I had. She was wearing a very shiny, glittery, silvery dress. She was dancing and having a good time. At one of my friends' urging, I drew her. It's not perfect, but oh well. I glittered it up all by myself. (Can you believe they charge $21 for a JPEG of glitter? Not even a PNG, but a JPEG. hell no.)
Now here's some "bonus" stuff from earlier this month under the cut.
wind-up Dogen? I always thought he kinda walked like a wind-up toy. I was requested to draw a wind-up Dogen.
I was gonna draw more of them interacting, but then didn't. It was gonna be more pleasant. Maybe another time.
Maloof that I didn't finish. Didn't think it through enough.
Oh hey, and this is the sketch for the shiny Milla. Raz was never intended to be in the final. I wanted to doodle him dancing by her side just for fun.
All we wanna do is da-ance 🎵
A while ago, I was asked about how I do my line art. I screenshot my process to explain it. I'm glad to share my knowledge, and I hope this can inspire you. I want to emphasize that there is no "right" or "wrong" way. This is just how I like to do it.
Anyway, every drawing of mine starts with a rough sketch. My beautiful babies, Crystal and Clem, will be helping me demonstrate.
Some sketches are rougher than others, but I have a lot of experience with drawing Crystal and Clem so it doesn't take much.
Depending on how I want a drawing to look, I may use different pens. The one I am using here is called "Technical Pen" and it is the one I use 90% of the time. I will go around and outline anything I want bolded. The lines here aren't as thick as I usually go, but it's the same concept.
I will decrease the size of the pen and start to fill in some details. I usually tweak it as I go, fixing errors, and smoothing out the lines. In casual drawings like this, I'm very loose about it. There's no science to it, just go with the flow. (AAH INVISIBLE EYES)
Then, I will decrease the size once more and fill in tinier details (pupils, hair, clothing folds, etc.)
With drawings that include writing, I'll use a size like I did in step 3 (not too thin, not too thick.)
Now you can brutalize lines the Terra way.
Of course this isn't the ONLY way and every drawing I do the lines a little differently depending on how I want it to look. Here are some other pens I use:
Technical Pen - This is an all-around pen for me. It's straightfoward and reliable.
Brush 4 - No, really, that's what it's called. This is good when I want to have very thick, bold, textured lines. I sometimes use Pencil 6B for hatching with this if I want it to have a sketchy look.
Inking Pen - I also call it the "Bobby Pen" because I use it frequently when drawing Bobby. It's good for when I want to make a sketchy, rough, unstable-looking drawing. It's also very good if I want the lines to look very sharp. I'm still experimenting with this one.
Pencil Pal - This one is reserved for whenever I make drawings that (somewhat) resemble traditional art. I usually only keep to one width with this one.
And there you have it.
I'm Terra, and I love to draw fanart of the things I like. I'm trying to be less shy about sharing my art and in general. I hope you enjoy my digital scribbles.
