January 2023 Doodle Highlights

September 27 is National Scarf Day. Anything for an excuse to draw the characters I like most.

So here is what happens when a ten-year-old psychic DJ, a loner robot, and a ninja mouse are put together.

I am feeling unusually sociable, so if you wanna hit me up/send an ask, now is a good time to do so.

or at least say hi to Quentin.

Today is Hertz's birthday which marks six years since I first created her. In "canon" she's ten or so. She is sitting very politely, possibly having her picture taken.

I also drew her with some of her friends and "adoptive family" since she seemed pretty lonely just sitting there.

Let me introduce them to you (moving clockwise around the table):

Hertz (Hell-bat): A young demon who escaped from hell when she was set to be done away with (as all demons are supposed to be "born" fully grown.)

Nori (Human/unicorn): Hertz's guardian. She used her magic to heal Hertz's wounds after she escaped hell. She took her in and now Hertz lives with her.

Iliya (Cocker spaniel): A good friend to Nori and Hertz. She's a fashion stylist with many hobbies. She is also part golden retriever which is why she is so fluffy.

Bande (Striped hyena, you can see the back of her head): Iliya's friend since high school. Also kind of like an "aunt" to Hertz. She is Todd's wife and Wyatt's mother. She is a reliable friend.

Wyatt (Striped hyena/Red fox, you can see his head in the foreground): Bande and Todd's son, which would make him like Hertz's little "cousin." He's very young and can't talk yet.

Todd (Red fox): A very laid-back guy. He is like Hertz's cool uncle who brings her treats and lets her stay up late. He plays guitar and likes to take walks in the woods.

Fallon (Goat): Caprio's mother. She is generally carefree, but can be impulsive at times. Her husband, Ricot, keeps her balanced (He isn't here because I ran out of room.)

Caprio (Goat): Hertz's best friend. He was her first friend on the surface world. He is kind and curious, but a bit timid and easily startled. He comes up with creative solutions to problems, but there is usually an easier way.

June 13 marks one year since I first joined this website. I never thought I'd be here, but I've been enjoying my time so far. Thank you for letting me share my drawings with you.

I don't have any big celebratory drawings, but I do have this scrapped sketch that I was unable to complete.

Yay.

Did you know that it is very fun to draw the campers while listening to music they would never listen to? I drew some of my favorite pictures of Bobby while listening to Rihanna. I recommend it too.

i always struggle to find background music when drawing certain characters. maybe i Should just listen to shakira when drawing mikhail. LOL.

Not a question, but I love your art-- you have SUCH a good grasp on the PSYN style, and all of your doodles, sketches, and art are really pleasing to look through. I'm definitely a fan!

I sat here for a while trying to think of one, but I discovered I am incredibly neutral towards all of them (even Meat Circus.) Even if a level is flawed or weak, I still think they manage to communicate the story they want to tell.

I'm interested in your headcannons for Misha's family! You once said that maybe Misha could have a lot of sisters and brothers

Hello! Sadly, most of my ideas about Misha's family are very vague and it's difficult for me to explain, but I will do my best. In my mind, Misha seems like someone brotherly. I don't remember if I specified it in the post I did with some of my headcanons/ideas/interpretations of him, but I think he is the oldest of his siblings. It's hard to explain why I think it. It's just the vibe I get from him based on how he interacts with Maloof. I've already explained how I think his friendship/alliance with him has a brotherly aspect to me, so I won't dwell on it. (I'm also the eldest sibling, so I can tell these things lol) I haven't given much thought to his siblings regarding how many he has, how many of which are brothers or sisters, or if any are psychic like him, which is a bit disappointing. I imagine he likes to roughhouse/play fight with them. He uses his powers when playing, of course. If your older brother was psychic, wouldn't you want him to toss you around with his telekinesis? lol. He doesn't hurt them though, it's all just for fun. I think they have a lot of fun with him. (I think he tries to play with Maloof like this, but Maloof does not respond well to it. Just a funny random thought I had.) I also haven't given much thought to his parents, but I think they are good to him. I think he inherited his abilities from his father. I also think his father may have been a lot like Misha in his youth (wrestling bears and whatnot.) I don't have many ideas about his mother currently, but I think she is good to her son. I think that's all I have for now. Hopefully I was able to explain my thoughts in an easily digestible manner. Thank you for your time, have a Misha for your consideration.
