IT'S THE THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF LIONHEART
When I first started writing this fic, I never knew I might still be writing it years later or that it might have grown into what it is and what it will be. Thank you to those of you who have been here since the beginning and those who are newer!
I was hoping to post a chapter as a little celebration but unfortunately it isn't ready yet.
However! I still want to have something as a little treat!
It's Baby Demon Tanjiro! I drew this in May of 2022 and unfortunately I cannot find the original. I think I doodled this in my SAT study book and then tossed it before I tore out my various doodles in it ;-; RIP to all the doodles I did that I didn't save because I thought they were bad yOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER BY NOW BOOKIE!!
I'm (very inconsistently and slowly) trying to get into drawing so I can draw my little blorbos. I won't post any without prompting though because I don't have any confidence in my drawing capabilities.

To put into perspective my feelings on the United Healthcare CEO story, I'm gonna tell you a super fun story.
Around six years ago I was dying of organ failure.
Like, full on organs-shutting-down-couldn't-eat-anything-for-weeks-could-hardly-function organ failure. I had surgery scheduled to help reverse some of this. Hope was on the horizon. I was going to live. I was going to be okay. I just needed to get to my surgery date.
And then the day before that surgery I got a call.
"We've been fighting with your insurance company for weeks," said the lady on phone. "They keep telling us your procedure isn't 'medically necessary'. Dr. [Surgeon] screamed at them for a half an hour yesterday...but they still refuse to cover it."
I was given a choice during that conversation: go ahead with the surgery anyway and be on the hook for tens of thousands of dollars...or don't get the surgery...and almost certainly die.
I'm sure you can guess which one I chose.
I'm sure you can also guess what the name of my insurance company was at the time.
my only advice is to BE CAREFUL posting about holiday traditions around europeans. you'll post something casual like "anyone else watch the old Grinch movie every year? what a classic" and a european will appear as if summoned and say some shit like "funny how USAmericans always CONVENIENTLY forget that Not Everyone On Earth is from The USA…….. no of COURSE we dont watch 'the grunch' or whatever the fuck that is…. our tradition is to attend a community showing of Glummdorf the Racial Stereotype"
Hey guys, I know I've been radio silent for awhile, but I could use your help getting this as far as it can go before the election.
These are the four swing states where you can still register to vote - North Carolina through Nov. 2nd, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nevada through Election Day. Most states' "same-day registration" options are very recent, and a lot of people don't know about them.
The QR codes on the first page link you to find your same-day registration location in that state.
The QR codes on the second page take you to info on same-day registration in each state. Definitely check them for full lists of acceptable registration documents.
And once again: Please make the pragmatic choice and vote Harris. We haven't done the work to give anyone other than Trump or Harris a real chance to win this election. I know it's frustrating to feel trapped in the two-party system, and Harris is no angel. Maybe we can work to escape this "lesser of two evils" cycle, but not this year, and we need a president who is NOT in mental decline and who HASN'T threatened to punish anyone who disagrees with him.
Hype up your left-leaning friends to go to the polls on Election Day. Thanks to a lot of recent legislation, it's not too late to make your voice heard until like 8pm (poll closing times dependent on locality) on November 5th in these and many non-swing states.
